Family Life Committee
The Family Life Committee is responsible to promote the well being of the membership through activities that provide education, recreation, fellowship and interactions of individuals. These activities are scheduled throughout the year so that all may participate in as many as possible.
Picnic including swim at Bellows Air Force Station beach is the focus for the family day. Families share their potluck lunches and get to know each other better. Swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding and miniature golfing enhance the day--a great summer fun for all.
Trunk - o - Treat
Youth and children of all ages can participate in carnival-like activities in late October. Adults are the sponsors and monitors of all the activities so children can have a great fun time. A ball throw dunking, inflated bounce house for jumping, fish pond for the four and five year olds, various ball and ring toss games, spray hair coloring, and computer games are some of the activities provided for enjoyment. Food, drinks, and ice cones “shave ice” add to the whole fun day.
Outing at Ho'omaluhia Park
Fishing and enjoying the natural beauty of Ho’omaluhia Park in the Ko’olau Mountains are the highlight of this event. Children can enjoy fishing at the fresh water pond, where fish could be caught and released. Families can enjoy their picnic lunches in the beautiful mountain park setting, where verdant native trees and plants grow abundantly.
